Scorpions rock Mumbai like a hurricane

Mumbai, Dec 15 (UNI) German hard rock band - Scorpions-drived city's rock fans with their classics and new tracks from their fresh album ''Humanity: Hour1'' on their '' Humanity World Tour'' here.

The eagerly awaited band did not disappoint their 10,000 strong fans yesterday, treating them with songs like ''Bad Boys running wild'', ''Holiday'', ''The Zoo'' and ''Rock you like a Hurricane'' with teutonic efficiency and professionalism.

The enthusiastic crowd would have surely got their expenditures worth with the great lighting, excellent sounds and hits, most of them grew up with. Quite a few number of young people were also present who would have grown-up on a diet of Grunge, Trash and Speed Metal or even Electronica, singing along with the band's older tracks.

Formed in 1965, Scorpions has recorded 16 albums including this one has sold more than 75 million copies worldwide.

The band will play at Bangalore on December 16, their last stop in the three-city tour of India that included Shillong and Mumbai.
