Protest against 'ill-treatment' of Malaysian Tamils

Puducherry, Dec 15 (UNI) The Puducherry-based Senthamiz Iyakkam today held a demonstration near the Old Bus Stand in protest against the alleged discrimination of Tamils in Malaysia.

They sought the intervention of the Centre to prevail upon the Malaysian Government to ''protect the interests'' of the Tamils there.

Several Tamil organisations and Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) volunteers joined the agitation.
