Indiscipline in party not to be tolerated: Bhattal

Chandigarh, Dec 15 (UNI) Punjab Congress president Rajinder Kaur Bhattal has taken a very serious view of the incident of indiscipline by some party workers and leaders on the occasion of staging Dharna at Ferozepur to protest against misdeeds of SAD-BJP government on last Thrusday, PPCC spokesman S Jagmohan Singh Kang said today.

"The PPCC president has given a clear signal that indiscipline and leg pulling in the party will not be tolerated at any cost and whosoever indulging in indiscipline and spoiling the image of the Party, irrespective of his position will be dealt with severely," the spokesman said.

"Ms Bhattal has warned the party rank and file against going to the media to air their grievances in public, if any." Mr Kang further said that the PPCC president had referred the complaint of indiscipline by president of Ferozepur District Congress Committee to the Disciplinary Action Committee of the PPCC to look into, enquire and submit report on merit for taking necessary action.

"Ms Bhattal has advised all leaders and workers of the Party to discuss and resolve their differences of opinion, if any, at appropriate party forum," the spokesman added.
