Huge cases pending in High Court: AP Minister
Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Law and Technical Education Minister R Chenga Reddy today said 67,775 cases were pending in the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
Talking to newspersons here, after participating in State-level officials meeting of the Law department, he said counter-affidavits had been submitted in 10,816 cases so far in the High Court.
Instructing the officials and public prosecutors to take steps to dispose off the cases at the earliest and file affidavits on the remaining pending cases, Mr Reddy said the Government was taking steps to provide housing facilities to all Government Advocates in the State.
The State Advocate General CV Mohan Reddy would devise the strategy in this regard.
