70 establishments gutted in fire at Malad

Mumbai, Dec 15 (UNI) At least 70 establishments were gutted in a fire at the Bombay Talkies Industrial Compound in Malad in North Mumbai today.

Sixteen fire engines and 10 water tankers were pressed into service to control the fire, which broke out at 0630 hrs, police said.

The cause of the fire was not yet ascertained.

All the trapped persons were rescued by fire-brigade and police personnel.
