Winter session of Bihar Legislature adjourned sine die

Patna, Dec 14 (UNI) The winter session of Bihar legislature was adjourned sine die today during which several important Bills, including the State Appropriation Bill, were passed.

Both Houses of the State Legislature had six sittings during the session, which began on December 7.

In the State Assembly, out of 1085 questions, 752 were admitted, while 45 of them were answered.

Other important Bills, passed by both Houses of the State Legislature were -- Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) Amendment Bill-2007, Bihar Panchayati Raj (Amendment Bill)-2007 and Bihar Contigency Fund(Amendment Bill)-2007.
