Mild eathquake hits Nanded and Koyna region of Maharashtra

Mumbai, Dec 14 (UNI) A low-intensity earthquake, with Koyna as the epicentre, hit Nanded and Koyna region of Maharashtra today, a Meteorology department official said here.

The earthquake, measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale, was felt initially at Nanded, while the one of 2.9 magnitude, hit Koyna region at around 1816 hrs the official told UNI
