Winter pleasant, not cold in Kolkata

Kolkata, Dec 13 (UNI) Kolkatans woke up to a warm winter morning today with temperatures rising slightly over yesterday's record.

Alipore Met Officials said the minimum temperature is expected to remain at 16 degrees Celsius later in the night.

The sky was partly cloudy through the day, with mist hovering low early in the morning.

Met office sources said the maximum temperature was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was at 14.6 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal.

Maximum humidity level recorded by the Met office was 94 per cent, while the minimum was recorded at 46 per cent.
