Whyte and Mackay to launch premium whisky in Taiwan

Mumbai, Dec 12 (UNI) Whyte and Mackay, subsidaries of United Spirits today opened its branch office in Taipei, Taiwan and will unveil its Dalmore range of single malt whiskies on December 13, announced a release issued here.

Dr Vijay Mallaya, Chairman, said, ''We acquired liquid gold in the acquisition of Whyte and Mackay. We are now focussed to promote our luxury brands in key growth markets.'' The Dalmore range of whiskies will be priced from 50-120 dollars.

A 64 year old super luxury Dalmore bottle will be auctioned at the launch with a reserve price of USD 2,00,000.
