Jobs in tier II cities of India
New Delhi, 13 Dec, 2007 : According to an ASSOCHAM study, India's top 15 Tier-II cities have cornered over 20 per cent of the white collar jobs created in the last four months and this included cities like Chandigarh, Vadodara, Jaipur, Pune, Agra and Ahmedabad.
The 'Trends of Job Openings' study conducted during August-November 2007 found that Chandigarh, though a second rung city, was ranked fifth among the top 10 employment providing cities.
