Train derails in Rajasthan, passengers escape unhurt
Jaipur, Dec 13 (UNI) Eleven bogies of the Delhi-Ahmedabad Rajdhani Express derailed between Sirohi and Banas railway station in Ajmer division this morning, but all passengers escaped unhurt, a railway official said.
According to North West Railways Chief Public Relation Officer KL Inkiya, the incident took place at 0555 hrs.
However, no casualty or injury has been reported, he added.
Mr Inkiya said medical and relief teams reached the scene from Abu Road and Ahmedabad to help the passengers, who were later ferried to Banas railway station, he said.
After refreshments, the passengers were sent to Ahmedabad by a special train that left at 1000 hrs from Abu road, he added.
