PMC stages demonstration, demands MSP for paddy

Karaikal, Dec 13 (UNI) Volunteers of the Puducherry Munnetra Congress (PMC), led by Party Spokesman K Lakshminarayanan, MLA, staged a demonstration before the collectortate, demanding the territorial administration to announce Rs 1,000 as Minimum Support Price (MSP) per quintal of paddy, here today.

They took out a procession from the Arasalaar bridge to the collectorate in which party Legislator V K Ganapathy and other party functionaries participated.

They urged the Puducherry Administration to provide an interim relief of Rs 350 per quintal of paddy till the Centre takes a decision on the MSP.
