NBW against RPCC working president in dowry harassment case
Sikar, Dec 13 (UNI) A lower court here has issued a non-bailable warrant against Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) working president Parasram Mordia and his family in a dowry harassment and physical assault case.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Deepak Kumar Pandey issued the non-bailable warrant on a complaint filed by B M Solera, against Congress leader Parasram Mordia, his wife Bhagwati Devi, sons Rakesh, Mukesh and Mahesh, for dowry harassment.
Mr Solera, father-in-law of Mukesh Mordia, also filed a case against Parasram Mordia and his eldest son Rakesh for physically assaulting him and his family at the Neem Ka Thana police station on March 21, 2005.
The police after investigation, filed a final report repudiating the charges on which Mr Solera filed a protest in the court. The court, taking cognizance of the charges, issued the non-bailable warrant against the Mordia family on December 7 and asked them to surrender before December 21 in the court.
