Jet Airwys to hit Gulf skies from January 5

Mumbai, Dec 13 (UNI) Naresh Goyal-promoted Jet Airways today announced it would start a direct daily flight between Mumbai-Bahrain and Delhi-Kuwait from January 5 next year.

Jet would be the first private carrier from India to fly in any of the Gulf countries.

''Jet Airways will also launch two daily direct flights on the Kochi-Kuwait-Kochi and Kochi-Bahrain-Kochi sectors,'' the airlines spokeperson said today.

Announcing its Gulf operation, Jet Airways CEO Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said, ''With a large number of Indians living and working in the Gulf, flights to these sectors consistently register high load factors.'' UNI
