Irate mob pelts stones on policemen

Munger, Dec 13 (UNI) Three people, including two policemen, were seriously injured when an irate mob protesting a demolition drive pelted stones at the police personnel demolishing illegal structure in the district headquarters today.

Police Superintendent Mr Shaleen said the incident took place when the administration was demolishing illegal occupancy on the roadsides this afternoon.

An irate mob reached the spot and started pelting stones on the police and the magistrate, Mr Shaleen added. The driver of the vehicle was also injured, police added.
