Haryana waives off pending house tax of SC families

Chandigarh, Dec 13 (UNI) Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister A C Chaudhry today said orders had been issued to various civic bodies in the state to waive off the pending house tax of the people belonging to Scheduled Castes.

Announcing this here today, Mr Chaudhry said Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had made an announcement in this regard in recently held 'Dalit Samman Rally' organised at Karnal.

The Minister said this decision would immensely benefit the persons belonging to scheduled castes families.

A bonanza of incentives for the members belonging to Scheduled Castes, especially the students, had been announced in the rally which included implementation of several schemes involving an investment of Rs 1000 crore.
