BSF averted tragedy in Kashmir, defused live grenade

Srinagar, Dec 13 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) today foiled a major tragedy when they detected and defused a live grenade in north Kashmir, official sources said.

They said a Road Opening Party (ROP) of 51 battalion of BSF during a routine patrolling noticed a live hand grenade in the fields at Nasu Bandipora, about 55 km from here.

The area was immediately sealed and later the grenade was defused without causing any damage.
