A major fire breaks out in Fort William jute mill in Howrah

Howrah, Dec 13 (UNI) A major fire broke out in Fort William Jute Mill on Foreshore road under Shibpur police station late this afternoon.

Fire brigade personnel said the fire broke out at 1530 hours and it was still blazing strong.

Police sources informed that enquiry was on and they were waiting for the fire to be brought under control.

Five fire tenders have been pressed into force, fire brigade sources informed.
