12 year old dies after being hit by DTC near Tihar Jail

New Delhi, Dec 13 (UNI) A 12-year-old boy was killed after the motorcycle on which he was travelling was hit by a bus of the Delhi Transport Corporation near Tihar Jail in West Delhi this afternoon, police said.

A DTC bus operating on the route number 721 hit the vehicle on which 12-year old Tilak Thapa was riding near the Tihar Jail at about 1600 hours, police said.

The collision resulted in the boy falling from the motorcycle, being driven by his father, and being run over by the bus, they informed.

The driver of the bus Ranbir has been arrested, the police added.
