12 shops gutted in a petrol tanker fire

Hashimara(Jalpaiguri), Dec 13 (UNI) At least 12 shops were gutted in Kalibari crossing under Hashimara police station, when a petrol tanker caught fire here late this afternoon.

Reinforcement have been sent from the Hashimara Air Force base to tackle the fire. Police said that the exact extent of damage could not yet be ascertained.
