12 shops burnt down in a petrol tanker fire

Hashimara(Jalpaiguri), Dec 13 (UNI) At least 12 shops were burnt down in Kalibari more under Hashimara police station, as a petrol tanker caught fire at Bisant gas station here late this afternoon.

Reinforcement have been sent from the Hashimara Air Force base to tackle the fire. Police said that 12 shops have already been burnt down, however, the exact extent of the loss could not yet be ascertained.
