SWR to introduce special trains to Melmaruvathur

Bangalore, Dec 12 (UNI) South Western Railways (SR) will run special trains between Bangalore City and Melmaruvathur to cope with the festival rush.

Train No ML62 Bangalore City-Melmaruvathur special would leave Bangalore City at 1845 hrs and reach Melmaruvathur the next day and Villupuram at 0500 hrs.

The train services from Bangalore would run on December 15 and 20, a SWR release here said today.

In the return direction, train no ML61 Melmaruvathur-Bangalore City Special would leave Villupuram at 1630 hrs and arrive at Melmaruvathur at 1745 hrs, leave Melmaruvathur at 1800 hrs and reach Bangalore City at 0400 hrs the next day.

The train services from Melmaruvathur would run on December 16 and 21, it added.
