Sud demands immediate arrest of Mann

Chandigarh, Dec 12 (UNI) Punjab Medical Education and Research Minister Tikshan Sud today demanded registration of fresh case against President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) Simranjeet Singh Mann for hurting the sentiments of crores of Hindus all over the world by questioning the very existence of Lord Rama.

In a statement here today, the senior BJP leader said immediately after getting released on bail, Mr Mann in a press conference had tried to instigate communal passions in the State by questioning the very existence of Lord Rama.

Demanding the immediate arrest of Mr Mann, Mr Sud said the SAD (Amritsar) president was playing the ''dirty politics of Congress to create communal unrest in the state so that Central Government could get an opportunity to fiddle in Punjab''.

He said people of Punjab had learnt a lesson during decade- long terrorism in the State and ''they could see-through the games of Congress and Congress-funded parties''.

The BJP leader stressed that nobody should be allowed to disturb hard earned peace in the State and Mr Mann should be put behind the bars immediately.
