Nakoda Textile commissions FDY plant at Karanj

New Delhi, Dec 12 (UNI) Nakoda Textile Industries Ltd today said it has commissioned its 19500 tonnes FDY lines at Karanj.

FDY lines will produce filament yarn for weaving industry for which there is huge demand in Surat itself where Company's manufacturing facilities are located. With the installation of this plant, the company will be one of the few major players in its segment of the Industry. a statement said.

The above project would add Rs 175 crore to its top line and is expected to improve by Rs 7.5 crore in its bottom line in the year ending December, 2008, the statement added.

Currently, the company is engaged in manufacturing of POY, texturised yarn and draw twisted yarn and trading of all types of chips, yarns, fabrics and salt.
