Mother arrested for burning kids

Harda, MP, Dec 12 (UNI) A woman, who burnt her two children alive in a stove at their home in Dwip Kala village yesterday, about 40 km from this district headquarters, has been arrested, police said today.

Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Jain said Malti Rajput was arrested from near the forest where she was hiding behind a bush.

Abhishek (6 months) and Saloni (2) were found severely burnt by their father Ashok Rajput after he reached home.

Malti said she was disturbed with Ashok for not paying attention towards family and blaming her. She took the extreme step as she was not able to feed her children.
