Hindu Aikyavedi to 'waylay' TDB members

Kottayam, Dec 12 (UNI) The Hindu Aikyavedi will waylay the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) Members for allegedly failing to provide adequate facilities to Ayyappa devotees at Sabarimala.

Talking to reporters here today, Hindu Aikyavedi State Working President K N Ravindranath, General Secretary E S Biju, Secretary K Haridas alleged the government and TDB had failed to provide basic facilities and 'prasadam' to devotees.

The LDF Government was trying to politicise temple administration, they alleged.

The Aikyavedi leaders said the Hindu organisations would observe December 17 as protest day throughout the state and organise demonstrations and public meetings in all district headquarters.
