HC refuses to stay arrest of an advocate in Nithari case

Allahabad, Dec 12 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court has refused to stay the arrest of Khalid Khan, an advocate at Ghaziabad, charged for threatening the witnesses in well known Nithari incident at Noida.

The court has also directed the SSP Ghaziabad to provide police security to Sonia, a witness in the case.

The order was passed by two Judges Bench comprising Justice Intiaz Murtaza and Justice A K Singh on the writ petition of Khalid Khan.

The petitioner has moved the court challenging FIR registered against him at police station Kabir Nagar.
