Haryana Tourism complexes to have branded food items

Chandigarh, Dec 12 (UNI) The Haryana Tourism Development Corporation has decided to introduce branded food items at its selected tourist complexes all across the state.

Minister of State of Tourism Kiran Choudhry said the decision to introduce branded items was to meet increasing demand of customers, mainly youngsters, for branded food and beverage items at the various tourist complexes of Haryana Tourism.

''Moreover, many international brands were venturing in Indian Food and Beverages market,'' she said.

The introduction of branded food and beverages items in the complexes would help in increasing the clientele and profitability of Haryana Tourism Corporation, she added.

The Minister said the tourist complexes in which these branded food items would be introduced included Jal Mahal, a fast food outlet and Bastions Restaurant both located at Pinjore Gardens, fast food outlets at Pipli in Kurukshetra district, Oasis in Karnal district, Skylark in Panipat district, Dharuhera in Rewari district and Ethnic India at Rai in Sonepat district.
