Governor holds meeting on issues of physically challenged

Bangalore, Dec 12 (UNI) Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur today said that physically challenged are an undivided part of the main stream of society and should be provided with equal opportunities.

Mr Thakur was addressing a high level meeting conducted to discuss about the demands put forth before the government by institutions struggling hard to better the living conditions of the physically challenged.

Providing reservations to physically challenged persons in recruitment to all 99 departments of the government, issuing of bus passes to them were the main subject discussion in the meeting, a statement said here today.
