DHBVN to organise three-day electricity conservation fair

Hisar, Dec 12 (UNI) To commemorate the National Energy Conservation Day, the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) would organise three-day electricity conservation fair from December 13 to 15 at its circle head quarters at Sirsa, Hisar, Bhiwani, Narnaul and Gurgaon.

A spokesman of DHBVN said here today that in the electricity conservation fairs, exhibitions displaying energy efficient electricity equipment, seminars educating people on efficient and rational use of electricity, painting competitions on the theme of electricity conservation and various cultural programmes would be organised.

In the exhibitions, there would be different stalls of energy efficient lighting equipment like compact fluorescent lamps and T-5 tubes, light emitting diodes (LEDs) energy efficient tubewell motors and other energy efficient domestic equipments having star rating of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency of Central government, he said.
