Dacoits loot property from railway staff

Siliguri, Dec 12 (UNI) About six armed dacoits looted cash and ornaments worth more than Rs 5 lakh from a quarter of a railway employee near railway junction here early today.

Siliguri Addtional Superintendent of police Rajesh Kumar Yadav said the dacoits with masks entered the official residence of Bijoy Kanta Mishra and looted cash of Rs 3 lakh, gold ornaments and mobile phones.

No arrest has so far been made in this connection. Investigation was on.
