Centre approves Rs 1,453.16 cr Village Road Project in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Dec 12 (UNI) The Central Government has approved the sixth phase of the Rs 1,453.16 crore Village Road Project in Maharashtra.

According to an official release here today, under this scheme, 4,630 km of roads will be constructed to link the villages in one and a half years time span.

The decision to this effect was taken yesterday by the high power committee of Rural Development Department of the Central Government.
