Hearing against Modi deferred

New Delhi, Dec. 10, 2007 : The Supreme Court has deferred the hearing on a plea seeking registration of an FIR and initiation of contempt proceedings against Gujarat"s Chief Minister Narendra Modi till 12th December.

The Supreme Court will also hear an application seeking to make Narendra Modi a co-accused in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. The plea comes in the wake of his alleged statement justifying the act.
