UT Home Secretary inaugurates photo exhibition

Chandigarh, Dec 11 (UNI) Chandigarh Union Territory Home Secretary Krishna Mohan inaugurated a photo exhibition, showcasing 50 years of work by Mr Satya Pal Handa, the first photographer of the City Beautiful, at the Government Museum and Art Gallery here today.

The exhibition will remain open till December 13. Mr Mohan went round the exhibition and appreciated the works of Mr Handa. The photo exhibition has been organized by the Rotary Club of Chandigarh.

Mr Handa is bestowed with numerous awards and recognitions from various organisations including UN, WHO, UNESCO, Rotary International Award in World Photo Contests, Punjab Governor's Special Silver Medal, etc.
