Survey to find out TTD land property

Tirupati, Dec 11: The Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanam will conduct a survey to ascertain the extent of property pertaining to land donated by the Sri Vari devotees over the years, TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary said.

As some of the properties registered with the Devasthanam were scattered at various places, the TTD would find out whether they were still under its possession or encroached upon, he told to the sources here yesterday.

Surveyors and Inspectors would carry out the survey after contacting state governments, he said, adding that vast tracts of land belonging to the TTD was encroached upon and untraceable.
