Surat Collector lodges complaint against BJP supporters

Surat, Dec 11 (UNI) A complaint against BJP leader Kanak Singh Mangrola, was today lodged with the police by the Surat Collector for violation of the Model Code of Conduct as his vehicle was found within the limits of a polling booth in Chorasi Assembly constituency.

The Collector also named a group of BJP supporters in his complaint.

State Water Supply Minister Narottam Patel is in the fray from Chorasi.

Police also found polling slips with Mr Patel's details at a polling booth, and a complaint has also been made by the Collector.

The largest Assembly constituency in terms of voters is Chorasi in Surat with 1.59 million voters.
