Special plan to help animals to beat cold

Patna/Bihar, 9 Dec, 2007 : Authorities at Sanjay Gandhi Jaivic Udyan or Biological Park in Bihar state have made special arrangements to help the animals beat the biting cold wave.

Animals' corrals have been covered with straw mats and electric heaters to keep them warm. Meanwhile, high-voltage bulbs are provided in the various cells to keep the reptiles also warm.
