Shiv Sena to organise morcha against ULC repeal on Dec 20

Mumbai, Dec 11 (UNI) Shiv Sena, the only party which vehemently opposed repealing of Urban Land Ceiling Act, will organise a ''morcha'' on December 20 under the leadership of Party executive president Uddhav Thackeray.

A party release issued here today said the ''morcha''would start from Shiv Sena Bhavan, Dadar, to the Collector's Office, Bandra.

Industrial houses like Godrej, F E Dinshaw, Behramji Jijibhoy, Essel World, Vijay Sawant and mill owners are having 6,000 acres of land in the city, the release added.

The party demanded that the Government should distribute the 1,200 acre land that it had acquired under ULC for the construction of small housing societies.
