School student killed by 2 classmates in Gurgaon
Gurgaon, Dec 11 (UNI) A 14-year-old eighth class student was today shot dead by two of his classmates on the premises of the prestigious Euro International School in the DLF colony here.
Police said Abhishek Tyagi, son of property dealer Rajinder Tyagi, received four shots in his body, including one in the temple and two on his chest, from close range around 1500 hrs. He died on the way to hospital.
The two boys - Vikas and Aakash, who shot Tyagi dead, were detained by police. Both the boys, sons of property dealers, fired five bullets from a licensed pistol at Tyagi allegedly following a minor tussle with him two days ago.
The Principal of the school had worked out a patch-up among the boys but later, Vikas and Aakash went on to threaten Abhishek with dire consequences. Scared of the two, Abhishek had not attended the school yesterday.
Police said they would investigate how the pistol was brought to the school and also question Aakash's father who owned its licence.
