Rural Development Dept Officers hold fast

Tiruchirapalli, Dec 11 (UNI) Members of the Tiruchirapalli Zone Unit of the Tamil Nadu Rural Development Department Officers Association observed a day's fast here today.

In a statement here, Association's Tiruchirapalli District Secretary M Palaniappan said the Tiruchirapalli Zone comprising Karur, Perambalur and Pudukottai Districts were demanding among other things filling up existing vacancies in the Rural Development Department in all the eight zones in the state and promote junior assistants as assistants among others.
