PMC to picket Legislative Assembly on Dec 18

Puducherry, Dec 11 (UNI) The Puducherry Munnetra Congress (PMC) will picket the Legislative Assembly on December 18 to press for the Minimum Support Price of Rs 1000 for paddy.

PMC spokesman K Lakshminarayanan, MLA, told newspersons here today that Party founder-leader P Kannan had already requested the Union Territory government to take steps with the Centre in this regard.

However, the administration had not taken any steps in this regard and hence, the picketing, he added.
