Naval display off Pondy Coast on Dec 13

Puducherry, Dec 11 (UNI) As part of the Navy Week celebrations, a Naval display will be organised off Puducherry Coast on December 13.

According to official sources, as many as eight ships, including aircraft carrier, missile launcher and missile destroyer were expected to take part in sea and air manoeuvres.

The MARCOS Wing of the navy would lead the manoeuvres. The Naval exercise would commence at 1630 hrs and end at 1800 hrs after which a fireworks display would be organised till 2300 hrs.

Puducherry Lt Governor Mukut Mithi would take part in the event as a special invitee.
