Judicial Accountability and Reforms Convention on Dec 22
Mumbai, Dec 11 (UNI) An NGO, Janhit Manch is organising a two-day People's National Convention on ''Judicial Accountability and Reforms'' beginning here from December 22.
Speaking at a press conference today, Janhit Manch President Bhagwanji Raiyani said that delay in getting justice is becoming a big problem.
The convention will discuss various cases that have been pending for many years and how the whole system is burdened with more and more cases being filed and less number of judgements being passed.
Mr Raiyani said jokingly, ''The system has become so slow that if a case is filed by the father, the judgement is heard by the son.'' The convention will be attended by citizens, jurists, corporates and NGOs.
