Former minister convicted in murder case

Nawada, Dec 11 (UNI) A local Fast Track court today convicted former Bihar Animal Husbandary minister Aaditya Singh and three others in connection with a murder case.

Apart from Singh, three others, who were convicted, were Narsingh Singh, Tarul Singh and Mukesh Singh.

The court exonerated two other accused for lack of evidence.

The quantum of punishment would be pronounced tomorrow.

According to the prosecution, Lallan Singh, Mukhiya of Shakarpura under Akbarpur police station of the district, was shot dead by the accused on January 6,2006.

Altogether nine people, including the former Minister, were accused in the case.
