Former mayor gets bail in murder case

Patna, Dec 11 (UNI) The district and sessions court of Patna today granted bail to three people, including former Mayor of Patna, Krishna Murari Yadav, in a murder case.

District and sessions judge Mandhata Singh granted bail on furnishing a bail bound of Rs 10,000 with two sureties of the like amount.

During the day all the three accused had surrendered and prayed for regular bail in the light of an order of Supreme court.

Ashok Kumar Yadav, the former chairman of Patna Water board was killed in a bomb explosion in the office premises under Kotwali police station in the state capital on July 25,2005. All the three above mentioned, including the former mayor, were made accused in the case under the charges of their complicity in the case.
