Factory manufacturing fake curency unearthed

Ambala, Dec 11 (UNI) Police today unearthed a factory manufacturing fake currency notes and arrested three persons in this connection in Maheshnagar locality of Ambala Cantonment.

The police team on a tip-off raided the premises where the accused, identified as Shiv Kumar, Jagdip and Shiv Kumar, were manufacturing the currencynotes.

The police recovered fake currency notes worth Rs 5,000 from the accused. The notes, recovered during the raid conducted by the Ambala Sadar Police, comprised of two notes of Rs 1,000, 2 of Rs 500 and 20 of Rs 100.

The police also recovered a printer, equipment, papers, dyes, colours and other implements used for preparing notes.
