Chak De India, a revolution in Punjab

Jalandhar/Punjab, 9 Dec, 2007 : Bollywood film “Chak De India" has been a boon for manufacturers of hockey paraphernalia in Jalandhar. A revolution of sorts has swept through Jalandhar town that produces nearly 95% of the country"s hockey gear.

After the Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Chak De India" became a box office hit, the town has seen a major increase in the sale of hockey gear.
