Central study team to tour flood-hit areas in K'taka

Bangalore, Dec 11 (UNI) Two Central Study teams will arrive tomorrow to tour the state to take stock of the situation in flood-hit areas in the next two days.

A statement said here today that a three-member team headed by Home Ministry Joint Secretary V N Gour will tour the districts of Dharwad and Gadag in the next two days.

The second team headed by Vijay Kumar of Rural Development Ministry will tour Bagalkot district simultaneously, it said.

The teams will study the flood-hit areas and the relief measures taken by the government so far, it said.
