Srinagar, Dec 11 (UNI) As many as 429 Haj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir left here today for Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on board two special flights of Indian.
The Haj pilgrims comprised 298 men and 131 women.
In the first flight, 216 Haj pilgrims, comprising 159 men and 57 women, from the state took off from here for Jeddah.
While as the second flight carried 213 Haj pilgrims, comprising 139 men and 74 women.
About 10,000 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir will perform the Haj this year.
