Six members of marriage party killed in road mishap

Jalandhar, Dec 10 (UNI) Six members of a marriage party, including two children, were killed, when the Tata Sumo, they were travelling in collided with a truck near village Kan Sabo under Nakodar Police station in the district last night, police today said.

Police said that the accident took place when the victims were on way to Nakodar from Jalandhar after attending a marriage function.

Police said seven-year-old Sheetal, under going treatment in a hospital, succumbed to his injuries today, while five persons including two women died last night.

The deceased were identified as Hem Raj, Veena, Munish (12), Paramjit and her son Daman (17), police said.
